Parcel Monkey Delivers!!

I send a package once a year to Tokyo. I find the best price through Parcel Monkey, enter the dimensions and weight, purchase the label, and print it out. Go to UPS, FEDX, or whoever is your drop-off carrier and send the package. Tracking is easy; it usually arrives in Japan from Los Angeles in a couple of days. After processing at the airport customs, the local carrier will verify the drop-off recipient through the phone number or email. That's it!!.
P.S. This was the first year the local UPS could not get in touch with the recipient. I received an email from a representative at parcel monkey alerting me of this issue. I had about two weeks before the package would be "abandoned" to customs as not deliverable, with no refund. I contacted the recipient, and they then contacted the local UPS with the tracking number. Within 24 hours, they received the package directly.

A great find for international shipping alternatives.

1/2 the price of Fed EX using UPS to an obscure island off of the coast of New Zealand. Customer got the package in about a week from the US. Tracking all the way.

Once again, Parcel Monkey met or exceeded my expectations. For urgent shipments the more expensive optios are faster but for non time sensitive items, or where you can plan in advance they offer a very cost efficient and reliable service.
