It was a little confusing because, even with the final destination Wellington New Zealand, it first scanned New Jersey as a destination, which made me nervous about the package being lost in transit.
Then my daughter, the recipient, got an email asking that I pay $2 something New Zealand dollars in taxes, with a link to it where to pay. Although the amount to pay was minimal, it was still both surprising and frustrating,
Eventually the package made it to my daughter. -

It's been 33 days since i shipped my package (Nov 30, 2024 - Jan 2, 2025). It stopped tracking in Louisville, KY on Dec 18, 2024. It has not been delivered and I have no idea where it is. I did get a notice that it was in customs and that UPS says to pay another $15, but likely a scam since even on this website it still shows pending unless I put the tracking number in the tracker. So much for 7-9 business days.
