EMS parcel from Texas to Australia

As usual, EMS has delivered my parcel.
The only issue that I have with this service is that it takes at least three weeks to get the parcel from Texas to the Australia mainland, and if it has to go on to Tasmania, there is a sudden extra payment taken from the credit card that was used for the transaction. I do find that disconcerting, as the information is all there when the original transaction takes place.
None the less, I've used EMS several times over the past couple of years and the parcel is always delivered. I'll no doubt use them again.
